EarthTrends is a comprehensive online database that focuses on environmental, social, and economic trends in over 220 countries. It is maintained by the World Resources Institute and sponsored by DANIDA, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SIDA, World Bank, UNDP, UNEP, and USAID.

Eldis, the gateway to development information, provides regional and country profiles based on accessing materials from a multitude of online sources. Eldis is hosted by the Institute for Development Studies, Sussex, and is funded by SIDA, NORAD, SDC, and DFID.
