There are several sources of support for GEF Focal Points: the GEF Country Support Programme (CSP), National Dialogue Initiative (NDI), and Council Member Support Program. The GEF's quarterly newsletter, provides information on GEF activities and the Country Profiles contain detailed information on the status of GEF projects. Additionally, the GEF Conflict Resolution Commissioner assists countries in addressing issues that may arise. Limited funds for newly appointed GEF Focal Points and Council Members to participate in a GEF Familarization Seminar held at the GEF Secretariat in Washington, D.C.
Conflict Resolution Commissioner works with member countries and GEF Agencies to help resolve disputes and address complaints and issues of importance to GEF operations. Parties may send a formal request by letter or e-mail to the Chairperson and CEO of the GEF Secretariat
