A Sub-Regional Workshop for GEF Focal Points in East and Southern Africa was organized by the CSP in Windhoek, Namibia on 25-27 June 2008. The Workshop was attended by 45 participants including GEF Operational and Political Focal Points representing 17 countries in the region, representatives of the GEF Secretariat, GEF Agencies, GEF Evaluation Office, the CSP, as well as observers.
