Sub-Regional Workshop
for GEF Focal Points in
the Middle East,North Africa, and West Asia
Cairo, Egypt, 20-22 October 2009

The Sub-Regional Workshop for GEF Focal Points in the Middle East, North Africa, and West Asia was held in Cairo, Egypt on 20-21 October 2009, followed by a site visit to a GEF project on 22 October 2009. The Workshop was attended by 13 Focal Points representing 7 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and West Asia. Representatives of the GEF Secretariat, GEF Agencies, GEF Evaluation Office and the CSP also participated in the Workshop, along with some observers and the GEF-NGO Network.
